Silica sand for gardening and landscape gardening

The high-grade silica sands from the Quarzwerke Group have always been very popular as a classic design element in gardening and landscape gardening, especially for garden and gravel paths. They also serve well in the erection of noise barriers and as paving sand. The special high-grade properties of our silica sands also play an important role in this area. In particular the high abrasion resistance, weathering resistance, even grain distribution, visually attractive colour and the rounded-edge shape appeal to gardeners and landscape gardeners. The absence of any organic constituents whatsoever is also a helpful factor for the maintenance of surfaces and joints made with silica sand. If no further introduction of organic material takes place, there is no growth medium for vegetation.
