Gluhivzi plant (Ukraine)
200 km west of the Ukrainian capital Kiev kaolin has been mined in the region of Gluhivzi (Vinnytsa Province) for more than 100 years.
Since 2007, the Amberger Kaolinwerke with the AKW Ukrainian Kaolin Company has actively developed the plant to a major European location of kaolin production.
Extensive investment in modernization of the existing plant has already been implemented.
Just a few kilometers away, in the town of Veliko Gadominez, one of Europe's largest kaolin sources "slept" with high-quality raw kaolin, which will secure raw material supply for our Ukrainian works for many generations. Meanwhile, the deposit was developed to a large-scale mining area.
