For many years we have been providing—with our low-iron sand—the basic material for glass production of the highest quality level for the sheet glass segment. The special quality of our high-grade silica sands, which are especially well suited for glass production, is the reason for this. This is due among other things to their particularly high proportion of SiO₂ and the absence of any pigmenting accompanying minerals.
